The Social Media Coordinator Role

We are seeking a passionate social media community manager to join our Marketing team as our Social Media Coordinator. As a fast-paced, growth-driven brand with a combined following of over 500,000, this role has significant responsibility and visibility in the organization. Our ideal candidate is obsessed (in the best way!) with social media and is developing their skills in engagement and content creation, from ensuring customer questions are answered to executing best-in-class graphics, photos and video. As a hands-on coordinator, you will be responsible for content creation, scheduling and community management in the health and wellness space so a passion for healthy living is a plus. You will partner across the entire Marketing team to activate social media to drive the brand forward on all key initiatives.

You\'re an enthusiastic social media user who follows trends on all social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Quality posts and stories are in your DNA. You have a keen aesthetic, a sharp eye for detail, and a strong sense of what\'s appealing for your audience. You care about engaging customers and ensuring they have a great experience with your brand through responding to comments and direct messaging and reaching out when people tag us. You can take direction well to execute and schedule content with consistency that adheres to the Amy Myers MD\xc2\xae visual brand. This role reports directly to our Content Manager.

What you\'ll do:

  • Execute social media content strategy to drive continued follower and engagement growth with a balance for both brand-awareness and sales-driven initiatives.
  • Create and schedule social media content across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn).
  • Manage community engagement by answering questions and comments and providing responses with a solid attention to detail and brand voice
  • Engage with customers who tag us and source potential influencers where appropriate
  • Stay up-to-date on all platform changes, maintaining guidelines for best practices, specifications and key drivers to success
  • Utilize existing photography and video in an effective way\xe2\x80\x94finding new and creative ways to use assets we already have
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 2+ years of experience in creating and scheduling content for social media
  • 2+ years of Community engagement management
  • Demonstrated ability to follow a strategy across multiple social media platforms
  • Deliver monthly reports and statistics for each account
  • Problem solver with a competitive spirit and a passion for results
  • A sense for what resonates with customers in the health and wellness space and/or a passion for healthy living
  • Aware of current, relevant, and industry innovations \xe2\x80\x93 the latest and greatest
  • Familiarity with basic content creation and editing tools as well as social media publishing and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Canva and Google Suite
  • High attention to detail, spotting mistakes before the post to maximize efficiency
  • The ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Team player that has experience wearing multiple hats while operating in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

Location: This is a full-time, in-office position in our Austin office. The office is located in south Austin near I-35 and Slaughter in the Southpark Meadows area.
