Job Description

Division: Retail Banking Department: Small Business - Admin Reports to: VP, Small Business Loan Closing Manager Status: Non-Exempt Grade: 7 Location: Remote within MA, NY, CT, VT, RI Purpose/Objective: Responsible for helping to facilitate Small Business loans after approval through closing. Serves as the primary point of contact for Retail Partners and Documentation Processors after credit approval and acceptance of loan commitment through closing. Key Accountabilities:

• Generates commitment letter and then upon acceptance of commitment, generates closing checklist. 5%
• Regular interaction with real estate attorneys and relationship mangers. 10%
• Collects and reviews all items on closing checklist to include all pre-closing conditions as set by the Underwriter. 40%
• Helps to address and collect post-closing document exceptions. 10%
• Tracks all expenses associated with each closing including good faith deposits and expenses. 10%
• Confirms clear to close prior to closing date being scheduled. 5%
• Post-closing review of all new loans and modifications. 10%
• Care Calls, call customers that have closed a new loan or modification. 10%
• Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one\'s duties.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience; Associates degree preferred

Experience:

• 2-5 years\' banking experience, lending experience preferred
