PRIMARY PURPOSE: As a Sky Suites Representative, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist VIP casino, hotel and convention guest reservations with hotel registration, hotel check out, concierge requests and provide all other supporting services
  • Knowledgeable on all dining and entertainment venues in the area including but not limited to: restaurants, golf courses, spas, nightclubs and tours
  • Describe, solicit and enroll guests in the M-Life loyalty program
  • Communicate effectively through email, telephone and during face to face interactions
  • Own all requests and complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Assume full responsibility for cashiering abilities to include but not limited to: maintaining a cash bank, resolving billing inquiries, creating posting master accounts, processing credit card authorizations and proper execution of casino comps
  • Maintain suite occupancy by controlling the out of service rooms, setting up guest lists when required and only upgrading suites after reviewing availability
  • Provide business center services to include faxing, copying, emailing and facilitation of shipping needs
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Knowledgeable of a Forbes Travel Guide 5Star and AAA 5Diamond rating and their importance
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • Able to lead and mentor a team
  • Ability to to make sound decisions immediately without supervision
  • Ability to read and write proficiently to evaluate reports and correspondence
  • Perception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionally
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of guest service experience
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
