R & R Sports operates seven specialty ski/ride and outdoor stores in Northern New Mexico. We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Rental Technicians and Sales Associates to join our dynamic team at our Angel Fire location. Ideal candidates should live locally and will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their needs, and promoting our products and services. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage various tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with inquiries.
- Assist guests through the rental process; fitting boots, choosing appropriate skis/boards, adjusting bindings and providing additional gear, as needed. - Manage cash handling processes accurately, including processing transactions and maintaining a balanced cash register.
- Assist in maintaining the sales floor, ensuring that products are well-stocked and displays are organized.
- Handle conflict management effectively to resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Support events management by assisting with setup, coordination, and execution of promotional activities.
- Utilize experience in hospitality or food service to enhance customer interactions and ensure satisfaction.
- Engage with children and families, providing guidance on products suitable for younger audiences when necessary.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in customer service or guest services roles is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively.
- Background in ski rental/sales, hospitality, food service, or resort environments is advantageous.
- Experience working with children is a plus.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

- Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus
