San Arbor Associates helps small businesses hire skilled labor, middle and operations management in the tri-state New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York area.

Our client is a family owned, regional excavation contractor based in the Morris County, NJ area. Family owned and operated for over 30 years, they are looking to hire a season Construction Site Supervisor with strong people leader and project management experience.

Schedule: Monday through Friday
Salary: $70,000 to $90,000

What you\'ll be doing\xe2\x80\xa6

Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees, subcontractors, and trade workers on site at multiple project sites.

Implement and enforce safety requirements on site in the operational area.

Ensure machinery, vehicles, tools, and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.

Develop and maintain positive client relationships to ensure customer expectation are met.

Analyzes manpower, material, equipment requirements, and schedules work assignments.

Train new employees in job duties and safety procedures.

Maintain records of employee attendance and performance.

Resolve conflicts between workers and management.

Provide feedback to workers on their performance.

Enforce company policies and procedures.

What you need to do this job\xe2\x80\xa6

5+ years as a Field Supervisor, Foreman or Engineer, Superintendent in commercial excavation, demolition, or construction.

Familiar with local, state and industry standard safety guidelines and best practices.

Must include supervising, leading, and managing teams of skilled constructions workers, tradesmen, drivers, heavy machine operators and menial laborers.

Ability to interact with customers and local building authorities with well-developed communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills are required.
