Responsibilities

Measure and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install shower doors, frames, and related fixtures. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble glass panels, metal frames, and hardware components. Perform heavy lifting of glass panels, framing materials, and other heavy components safely and efficiently. Install shower enclosures by hanging doors, securing frames, sealing with caulking, and ensuring proper alignment for smooth operation. Conduct site preparations including metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and electrical work as needed for fixture installation. Read schematics and mechanical diagrams to troubleshoot installation issues or modify existing setups. Apply finishing techniques such as caulking, sealing joints, and trim carpentry to ensure a polished appearance. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects or custom fabrication tasks to meet client specifications. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.

Experience

Proven experience in glass installation, door hanging, or related construction roles with a focus on shower enclosures or fixtures. Skilled in welding, metal stud framing, cabinetry installation, or remodeling projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge relevant to fixture installation. Hands-on experience using hand tools such as drills, saws, levels, clamps; plus power tools like grinders or welders. Knowledge of caulking techniques for waterproof sealing and trim carpentry for finishing touches. Background in construction site work with an understanding of safety standards and heavy lifting procedures. Additional skills in locksmithing or electrical experience are a plus but not required; a maintenance person background is beneficial. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
