Job Description

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The Shipping/Receiving Support position drives a motor vehicle, often with an attached trailer, on the public highways to transport non-hazardous materials, equipment, and signage. Typically helps with loading and unloading the vehicle. When not driving, Shipping/Receiving Support will be assisting the Shipping and Purchasing Departments as directed by Production Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (To perform job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

• Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, vendors, etc., verbally or written
• Daily: Pick up or deliver materials and signs as requested by Production Manager
• Support Shipping Department, Purchasing Department or any other Production area as requested by Supervisor
• Ability to secure cargo to ensure product is safe and undamaged during transit
• Inspects vehicle and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, etc. before driving
• Maintains logbook as required by policy
• Requires consistent and dependable attendance
• Compliance with required safety equipment and company dress code

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and have clean driving record
• Preferably 21 years of age or older (for insurance purposes)
• Ability to drive and haul trailers up to 24\xe2\x80\x99 long
• Familiarity with the Colorado Front Range and Denver geographic areas and have ability to use GPS technology
• Ability to operate various equipment/software including hand tools, small power tools, forklift, scissors lift
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time
• Required to stand for long periods of time in warehouse when not driving
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.+ independently and with help
• This position requires talking, hearing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, crouching, kneeling, handling, pinching, and grasping. This position also requires close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to adjust focus, and utilization of effective interpersonal skills/behaviors during interactions with other team members.

Salary Range: $32,781 - $41,662 annual salary
