Shipping Clerk, Job, 1st shift

accupac is hiring for a full-time Shipping Clerk to join our 1st shift in our Souderton, PA. location.

Shipping Clerk Basic Job Functions:

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for shipping activities as assigned by the Shipping Coordinator. This role will be responsible got creating shipments as Pjobs get released, selecting tickets to meet current customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements, and ensuring that all shipments are imputed into Accuterm. This individual is responsible for entering all shipments into customers\xe2\x80\x99 databases, including publishing shipments when applicable. The Shipping Clerk will reconcile the previous day\xe2\x80\x99s shipments, confirm tickets have been consumed, and send shipping paperwork to the appropriate contacts.

The Shipping Clerk will work towards keeping accurate files of both Accupac bill of ladings and all other shipping papers, keep accurate records of Chep pallets being shipped, and enter information into applicable databases and spreadsheets. In addition, this role will work closely with the Procurement group and vendors on all returns and contact carriers to schedule shipments and ensure they are on time.

Shipping Clerks Essential Job Functions

Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse inventory and location systems

Solid mathematical skills and the ability to count and reconcile materials and conduct inventory

Ability to read and interpret documentation, instructional signs, and warning placards

Ability to follow instructions, get along well with others, and work in a team environment

Able to work effectively with minimum supervision in a very fast-paced environment.

Able to work different shifts, hours, and overtime on short notice

Shipping Clerk Position Requirements

High School Diploma or ED

Must have previous experience working in a warehouse

Must be HazMat certified

Ability to sustain at least one (1) hour of strenuous activity.

Ability to work different hours/shifts/days and overtime to meet the manufacturing schedule.

Ability to sit 41-75% of the workday

Ability to work in a \xe2\x80\x9cdusty\xe2\x80\x9d environment.
