Job Title:

Service Operations Manager - Kitchen Exhaust/Fire Protection Team

Location:

Indiana/Detroit/Dayton

Base Pay:

$47,000-$55,000 plus a production bonus adds up to 10% ($4,700-$5,500)/year based on quarterly production metrics (details can be discussed during interview). Before other benefits (PTO, matching 401k, etc).

Position Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Service Operations Manager

to lead our Kitchen Exhaust team in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan tri-state area (approximately 8-9 crews). The ideal candidate thrives on motivating and managing teams, emphasizing training, development, and goal-setting to ensure operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role demands a hands-on leader who values accountability, safety, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Quarterly bonus opportunities are available and can be discussed at the interview.

Key Responsibilities:



Team Leadership:

Recruit, hire, train, develop, and manage service crews to maintain high performance and morale.

Operational Oversight:

Manage service schedules to ensure timely, efficient customer service.

Workforce Coordination:

Meet with teams to prepare for workloads and review completed tasks.

Accountability:

Hold team members responsible for their roles and work performance.

Safety Practices:

Reinforce safe work practices through daily monitoring and weekly/monthly training.

Growth Initiatives:

Identify opportunities to expand services and grow the market.

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent required. Proven leadership experience, including hiring, training, coaching, and terminating employees. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Flexibility to work varying hours, primarily days with some nights required. Strong ability to build and maintain customer loyalty. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (alcohol and marijuana excluded)

Training Requirements:



Mandatory attendance at up to four week-long onboarding and role-specific training courses, which may require travel (all expenses covered by the company).

Physical Demands:



Ability to perform tasks including but not limited to: sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, crawling, reaching, squatting, stooping, and twisting. Capability to carry, lift, and pull 10-100+ lbs. with repetitive hand movements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year plus quarterly bonus for reaching production goals bring total to $51,700 - $61,000*.
