This position primarily works behind a counter in the service department. Physical requirements of this role include:

M-F 7:15am - 5:30pm
JOB SUMMARY
As a service advisor, you will play an essential role as one of the first contacts many of our customers have with an employee of Schulte Subaru. The service advisor is responsible for communicating with the customer throughout every step of their service experience, as well as, completing repair orders, and giving guidance to customers on what maintenance should be completed on their vehicle.
A TYPICAL DAY - JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Input and maintain accurate information about customer and vehicle information including in the initial report and final invoice.
Determine and recommend needed maintenance to customers based on the age, mileage, and history of the vehicle.
Monitor progress of vehicles throughout the day and update customers on that progress
Give a detailed explanation of work performed and charges to customers
Generate and complete repair orders and collect payments for work performed in a timely manner
Gain knowledge of service offerings, products, and mechanical language
Assist the service team and management with other tasks and events as needed
