Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional customer service. You will leverage your mechanical knowledge and experience to assist customers in understanding their vehicle maintenance requirements while promoting our services effectively.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs. Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services, utilizing your skills in auto estimating and sales. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle diagnostics. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and repair orders through effective service writing. Advise customers on vehicle maintenance schedules, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and more. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently as part of the service process. Stay updated on automotive repair techniques and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills and experiences:

Previous dealership experience is highly desirable. Strong background in auto service management and automotive repair. Experience in upselling services and products to enhance customer satisfaction. Proficient mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices including transmissions, alignment, suspension, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engine repair, auto body repair, and brake repair. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients. Experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred. Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
