KENWORTH
The Service Advisor works in a busy, fast paced environment. Writing up service orders and overseeing the day-to-day operations. You will be working with our customer base, mechanics, and our warranty administrators.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule, quote and assign work as required to run the Service Department as efficiently and profitably as possible. Follow up with customers as necessary.
Communicate Kenworth warranty parameters and policies to customers as it applies to each service request.
Work with Warranty Administrator to assure the timely and accurate filing of claims and jobs are completed with-in the labor guidelines payable by the O.E.M.
Coordinate with Sales Department regarding the receipt and delivery of all trucks, assuring that proper procedures and paperwork policies are adhered to.
Maintain shop safety with monthly inspection and safety policies.
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to the Service Manager.
Abides be the company Drug Free Policy.
Additional duties may be added as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED
Basic personal computer skills including Microsoft Windows, electronic mail and Word processing.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
Ability to access via steps, upper-level parts storage area.
* Must be able to operate a forklift once necessary operator's license is obtained.
