Responsibilities

Schedules service appointments and obtains customer and unit data before arrival Writes up customers' unit problems accurately and clearly on repair orders Advises customers on the care of their units and the value of maintaining their units in accordance with manufacturers' specifications Refers to service history - inspects units - and recommends additional needed service Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts Checks on the progress of repair throughout the day and contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time Explains cost and time requirements in detail and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed Keeps service department forms, menus, and pricing guides up-to-date Explains completed work and all charges to customers Implements a quality control process to eliminate comebacks Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process

Qualifications

Related dealership experience and/or training preferred Clean driving record Able to pass background check and drug screen History of solid and successful employment Exceptional customer service skills * Career minded and goal oriented
