Eats & Crafts at Escape is looking for a competent Restaurant Server to take and deliver orders. You'll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers' experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we'd like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

Skills

Proven restaurant serving or servering experience in high-end restaurants is ideal Well-organized and efficient Attention to detail and good math skills are a must! Strong communication and time management skills People person - able to communicate with people at the staff level as well as the customers Strong customer service skills, especially when the shift goes late or early. This position requires you to be flexible in your work hours during different periods of the day. You may need to work in some early morning shifts, weekends, holidays, etc. (skills of a hotelier). Responsibilities:
Take and serve orders from tables booked for service
Prepare food, menus, and items for service (e.g., clean tableware, prepare food, place orders with items, etc.)
Answer questions about our menu or services or other information needed (e.g., special requests, dietary restrictions)
Assist other staff members as needed (e.g., take orders, place checks on tables, assist other staff members with table setting)
Help maintain cleanliness of the restaurant by sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
