Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join the Darlington Country Club team in an enjoyable restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences by delivering high-quality service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area. The Server will also assist with special events and banquets.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring timely delivery to guests. Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance the dining experience. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and dining areas throughout service. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring all payments are processed correctly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and requests with professionalism.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred Previous experience with banquet and coordinating events is preferred

Must be 21 years of age or older

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with cash handling and POS systems is desirable. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
