Overview

New restaurant opening in Riverview area. Our new Italian restaurant seeks friendly and upbeat servers to work variable shifts, including weekends. The ideal candidate loves making small talk with customers and is willing to learn patrons' names in our local establishment. The Server will play a vital role in maintaining the restaurant's reputation for excellence and ensuring smooth daily operations. Pay listed is hourly and does not include projected tips.

Responsibilities

Welcome and seat guests warmly, answering questions about the menu and specials. Anticipate guest needs, check on their satisfaction during the meal, and promptly address any issues or complaints. Take accurate food and drink orders, relaying them to the kitchen and bar using a Toast POS system. Communicate special dietary needs or requests to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly, ensuring correct sequence and presentation. Deliver accompaniments as needed. Handle payments accurately and efficiently, including processing cash and credit card transactions. Clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils as courses are completed. Reset tables with clean linens and silverware for new guests as needed. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and service stations. Perform side work duties, such as stocking service areas with supplies and preparing tables. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service for all guests. Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies

Skills

Previous Server experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service orientation. Attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Teamwork and collaboration

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Base Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
