Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide recommendations for food and drink pairings, upselling items when appropriate. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Monitor tables for guest needs, refilling drinks, and clearing dishes as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for processing payments. Assist with training new staff members on restaurant procedures and customer service standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclubs. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus but not required. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well within a team are essential traits for success in this role.
