The Grapevine, a busy and vibrant restaurant known for exceptional catering, banquets, and events, is looking for full-time experienced servers to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding customer service and ensuring that all dining needs are met. Your ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively with kitchen staff will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our establishment.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems and OpenTable for reservations. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations based on guest preferences. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Assist in training new staff members on guest service protocols and restaurant procedures.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of kitchen operations is a plus, as it enhances communication with culinary staff.
