Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately at the end of shifts
Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed for smooth operations
Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Support overall restaurant cleanliness, sanitation standards, and food industry best practices
Qualifications
Previous restaurant experience or food service background is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments such as nightclubs
Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances your ability to serve confidently
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Demonstrated sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
Previous host/host or bussing experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
