Job Overview

New restaurant opening in Riverview area. We are looking for Food Runners/Server Assistants to join our team and facilitate collaboration between our kitchen and wait staff. Food Runner/Server Assistant responsibilities include setting tables, serving food orders and removing used dishes and utensils. Posted wage does not include tip-outs from server and bar staff.

To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including weekends. Ultimately, you will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner. Duties

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables efficiently and accurately Ensure that each dish is presented according to restaurant standards before leaving the kitchen Announce each dish to the guest upon delivery, identifying key components or modifications when necessary Support servers in clearing and resetting tables, delivering condiments, and fulfilling guest requests Assist with expo line organization, tray setup, and plate timing during busy service hours Communicate with kitchen and service staff to ensure prompt and correct order delivery Maintain cleanliness and organization of food runner station, trays, and supplies

Qualifications

Prior experience as a food runner or server assistant in a restaurant preferred but not required Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong communication and multitasking skills Ability to carry heavy trays and walk/stand for long periods Excellent attention to detail and timing Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Job Type: Part-time

Projected Total Compensation: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
