Senior Software Engineer - Mobile

Role Summary

Join the Marketplace Core team to build and scale the client app and website. Work closely with cross-functional teams in Product, Design, and Data to deliver user-focused features for both customers and client partners. Take ownership of major roadmap initiatives, ensure performance and reliability, and contribute to the team's engineering maturity.

Core Responsibilities

Design and develop mobile-first features using

Flutter for iOS and Android

Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver high-quality user experiences Lead execution of major product roadmap milestones Support business-critical issues as part of the on-call rotation Work with client tech stack:

Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Postgres, MongoDB, ECS on AWS.

Must-Have Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience 2+ years of mobile development experience, including both iOS and Android Expertise in Flutter or a strong willingness to learn it Experience at

strong, consumer-facing technology companies operating at scale

(Examples: DoorDash, Lyft, Partiful, Uber, Airbnb, Instacart, etc.) Promotion to Senior level in prior roles Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Experience building or contributing to

marketplace or booking platforms

Experience implementing

internationalization (i18n) and localization

in mobile applications Hands-on experience with

AWS cloud services and containerization (ECS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

Currently living in NYC or

willing to relocate before start

Preferred Qualification

Strong product ownership and focus on customer experience Ability to communicate empathetically with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience with API integration and third-party services Experience with UI/UX design implementation and user experience optimization Track record of delivering polished, high-quality mobile products
