The Opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a full-time Senior Slot Technician to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. Our ideal Senior Slot Technician is a skilled electronics technician with the curiosity and skills to effectively troubleshoot and repair video gaming technologies (VGT). You\'re an independent self-starter with the technical know-how to make minor and complex repairs and the experience to know when it should be sent for more advanced technical work.

Minimum pay rate: $20.58 / hour

Responsibilities

• Address repairs that cannot be done in the field, working on parts, testing parts, etc.
• Troubleshoot issues and make the decision if the machine or part can be repaired in house or if the machine should be sent to the vendor for repair.
• Maintain the inventory of good parts, parts that need repair, machines, and parts at the vendor for repair and disposition of parts that can no longer be repaired.
• Organize, prioritize, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Work independently to achieve goals and results while contributing to the overall success of the team.
• Ensure all established policies and procedures are adhered to ensure protection of assets and team members.

Qualifications

• Able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
• Minimum of 2 years\' related experience or training required.
• Self-starter and able to complete work with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.
• Intermediate computer skills including e-mail, spreadsheets, graphics, routine data base activity, and record keeping, as well as basic smart phone and GPS knowledge.
• Maintain a valid driver\'s license.
• Able and willing to work flexible work schedule.
• General knowledge of gaming regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 70 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for brief periods.
• Ability to work in an indoor, loud, and smoky gaming environment.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle under adverse driving conditions.
• Ability to work in an environment where gaming and alcohol consumption occur.
