Nemours Children\'s Healthcare is looking for a Senior Risk Manager to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with the Legal and Risk Management Team to organize, compile, analyze, and document data to identify opportunities for risk management intervention and educational opportunities.
• Acts as a risk management resource, internal consultant, and educator by providing direct consultation to associates in the Delaware Valley.
• Researches and provides education, consultation, and guidance on state, federal, and other regulatory agencies\' standards as they relate to risk management. Maintains knowledge of applicable existing and developing laws and regulations.
• Participates, facilitates or leads teams, as appropriate, to achieve performance improvement within the organization.
• Compiles, analyzes data, and provides routine risk data to the Nemours Legal/Risk Management Department and other Delaware Valley departments as assigned, including but not limited to incident reports, medical records, logs, databases, and error reporting systems to support risk management activities.
• Drafts and delivers reports and presentations outlining findings, identifying and explaining potential risks, and recommending solutions.
• Collaborates with Legal/Risk Management Department on uniform risk assessment models and methodologies.

• Juris Doctorate and/or clinical degree required
• At least 3 years of related experience
• Work experience in Healthcare and Risk Management preferred
