The Senior Property Manager is responsible for comprehensive oversight of assigned multifamily properties and for providing professional, courteous service in the highest ethical manner. The Senior Property Manager supervises a minimum of 2 properties or 200+ units and oversees or performs all work to protect CHP's assets and ensure that the assigned property is well-operated and maintained. Customary duties include but are not limited to: supervising, motivating, and establishing career goals for site staff; ensuring buildings and grounds are maintained in a safe, secure and aesthetically pleasing manner; maximizing quality service to residents within allocated budget; directing/coordinating leasing to maintain occupancy goals; and other activities associated with property operations. The Senior Property Manager ensures property performance to established budgetary and financial measures to meet federal/state/grant partner regulations and guidelines (such as HUD, LIHTC, and more). Position requires initiative/self-starter abilities, demonstrated skill working in a fast-paced environment, ability to prioritize the work of others efficiently and effectively to meet budgetary constraints while accomplishing maximum benefit to clients, and ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously with intermittent interruptions. Working hours may vary, but the customary schedule is 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with a one-hour break for lunch; however, the nature and duties of the type of work performed requires a high degree of reliability and occasional evening and weekend hours. Some occasional overnight travel and frequent daily travel may be required. Regular attendance and punctuality are required to maintain efficient operations and provide support to clients and staff.
