The Role



As our

Senior Property Manager

, you'll oversee a portfolio of properties while directly supporting and mentoring a team of Property Managers. You'll be the go-to leader for operational excellence, compliance, and financial performance--stepping in where needed to ensure properties and residents thrive.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires

weekly travel to property sites

and the ability to

fill in temporarily at properties with staffing vacancies.



What You'll Do



Lead and support a team of Property Managers with day-to-day operations, compliance, and resident services. Ensure full compliance with RD 515 and other affordable housing program requirements. Monitor occupancy, vacancy, delinquency, and financial performance across assigned properties. Travel weekly to sites to provide on-the-ground support, training, and leadership. Step in as acting Property Manager when positions are vacant to maintain smooth operations. Approve budgets, invoices, and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Provide mentoring, training, and guidance to help staff grow and succeed. Build strong relationships with residents, agencies, and community partners.

What We're Looking For



5+ years of property management experience

with a strong background in

RD 515 housing

(required). Experience managing teams of Property Managers or site staff. Proficiency with

RealPage

software (preferred). Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills. A flexible, hands-on leader who enjoys being in the field as much as working with data and reports. Ability to travel weekly and step into vacant roles when needed.
