Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal - API Architect to join our Architecture team in a leading financial services enterprise. As an Senior Principal - API Architect, you will play a critical role in leading and managing strategic technology initiatives related to architecture. Your expertise in program management, enterprise architecture, and financial services combined with a sound set of technical skills will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of complex projects and initiatives.

  • You enjoy leading the development and implementation of architecture roadmaps
  • You have led the financials of the architecture team, yearly budget, and ongoing financial planning
  • Help design and implement workflows and other automations using low-code tools
  • You have the ability to communicate up and down the stack \xe2\x80\x93interacting with executives, engineers and architects, business groups and shared services
  • You enjoy creating an effective intake process and re-imagine execution for the architecture team
  • Lead the architecture group planning across goals, KRs, KPIs etc
  • You have the ability to help instill a culture of collaboration and team players, alongside ownership and accountability along with design and champion effective IT enterprise processes
  • You have redesign governance architecture processes
  • You have assisted with change management activities for the team and beyond
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Computer, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience required required
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in technology roles required
  • 5-7 years management experience required
  • 5-7 years technology leadership roles (Direct/Indirect) required
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
