Position Summary

The Senior Personal Injury Case Manager / Team Lead will lead a team of case managers, manage complex personal injury cases (pre-litigation through settlement), and ensure that clients receive timely, high-quality service. This role combines leadership, case oversight, and hands-on work with clients and attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee a team of case managers: training, mentoring, workflow monitoring, performance evaluations. Manage a portfolio of personal injury cases personally, especially complex or high?stake ones. Guide cases through all phases: intake, medical documentation collection, treatment tracking, demand preparation, settlement negotiations, lien reductions, and final case closure. Ensure all deadlines, filings, and documentation are completed accurately and on time. Maintain regular communication with clients: updates, questions, treatment progress, expectations. Coordinate with attorneys, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and vendors. Review demands, letters of protection, medical bills, police reports, medical records. Identify process improvements and help implement best practices to improve efficiency, case flow, client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 6- years of personal injury case management experience in a plaintiff?side law firm. Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Skills & Knowledge:

? Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
? Excellent written and verbal communication.
? Proficient in legal case management software (Filevine, Needles, or similar) and Microsoft Office.
? Good working knowledge of medical records, lien resolution, insurance industry practices.
? Comfortable managing deadlines, priorities in a fast?paced environment.

Negotiations Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
