Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure and network systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in computer networking, network security, and system administration, with a strong focus on WAN and LAN technologies. You will lead projects that enhance our network architecture while ensuring high availability and security across all platforms.

Responsibilities

o The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer will plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluateperformance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth andsuccess. The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer will function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. This position performs systems engineering throughout the entire system life cycle to support datacentermodernization. Develops understanding of customer's organization, goals, business needs, and enterprise mobilearchitectures and systems. Establishes system development and integration methodologies andstandards such as the ELCM. Develops system architectures that adhere to the Enterprise Mobile Architecture. Develops userrequirements and ensures that business solutions are consistent with client strategic goals andinvestment decisions. Employs best practice processes in the design, development, integration, and implementation ofmobile systems. Applies business process improvement practices to reengineer businessprocesses, principles, and methodologies. Implements state-of-the-practice mobile technology in the client environment, using leading-edgeapproaches, concepts, and ideas. Researches and evaluates mobile system designs to select appropriatetechnology and ensure efficient use of resources. The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer will be expected to supervise others.
The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer is required to be onsite at the Fairchild Building in downtownWashington, DC three (3) days per week.

Requirements

Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering, Information Systems, Business, or otherrelevant discipline or related field. Have a minimum of 5-8 years' experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Possess a base-level certification, such as A+, Security+, or Network+
Possess a Core certification within their functional area, such as VMware Certified Specialist -Workspace ONE 21.X Advanced Integration.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $103,426.35 - $124,556.47 per year
