The estimated base salary range for this role is $136,660 to $205,000 per year.
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors

As the Senior Manager, Business Solutions for Armstrong World Industries (AWI) based at our campus headquarters in Lancaster, PA, you will be responsible for identifying, examining, delivering, cultivating, and communicating business process needs and potential information technology (IT) solutions across all business units.

As both a relationship manager who aligns IT solutions to business priorities and a trusted delivery process advisor, you will play an integral role in building the IT brand within all levels of the organization and will be accountable for supervising up to 4 team leads and between 5-20 individual contributors.

What you\'ll be doing
  • Delivering guidance, insight, and supervision over $5-$25 million of direct and indirect budget spending
  • Maintaining global business process and IT knowledge to anticipate and deliver IT solutions for emerging business opportunities
  • Supervising up to 4 team leads and between 5 and 20 individual contributors
  • Identifying and cultivating potential IT investments to meet our strategic and process needs
  • Anticipating changes in business strategy and demanding patterns to proactively review and adjust solutions
  • Managing project scope and issues to ensure successful project implementations and delivery
  • Utilizing business risk and return evaluation to organizing, prioritize, and balance resources for a portfolio of potential IT projects
  • Creating and delivering against an annual operating plan to develop, enhance, and maintain IT solutions
  • Balancing business unit and IT strategic plans against ongoing IT operations, priorities, and resources
  • Communicating portfolio and project status with executives, functional leaders, business process owners, and IT managers across all levels of the organization
  • Developing and maintaining process metrics to demonstrate maximum returns for our IT portfolio
  • Tracking KPIs to ensure ongoing improvements in service delivery
  • Budgeting, tracking, and allocating IT service costs to align with strategic goals
  • Improving cost transparency for business stakeholders
  • Ensuring linkage of IT Services to industry-comparable cost statistics
  • Monitoring benchmarking to ensure that services meet or exceed best-in-class economic standards
  • Partnering with business process owners to maximize the benefits of delivered solutions
  • Developing plans to leverage existing global IT investments wherever possible
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of expertise in supporting large complex SAP configurations, implementations, solutions architecting, integrations, and deployments
  • 5+ years of recent experience as a manager or team leader in the information technology space
  • Strong technical grasp of SAP and SAP HANA (Preferred) across discrete and process manufacturing environments
  • SD/MM/PP/WM/VC experience (Preferred)
