Dycom Industries, Inc. (NYSE: DY), is searching for a dynamic Senior Investor Relations Analyst to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to grow and enhance their financial and research skills within Dycom\xe2\x80\x99s Investor Relations team. The Senior Investor Relations Analyst is responsible for (1) analyzing and reporting on the telecommunications industry, (2) supporting the execution of Dycom\'s Investor Relations strategy, and (3) supporting the Company\'s ESG compliance and reporting needs.


What you\'ll do...



Work will include detailed industry and company research, data analysis and financial modeling. We are looking for a quick learner, effective communicator, and highly analytical individual who is curious and passionate about the telecommunications industry.


The Senior Investor Relations Analyst will leverage their strong analytical skills and critical thinking to evaluate emerging telecommunications industry trends, conduct research to inform business decisions and provide support to team members in understanding industry topics. Additionally, this individual will play a supporting role in executing the Company\xe2\x80\x99s investor relations program and sustainability compliance and reporting processes. This role will collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Legal, Human Resources and other internal key functional leaders. The right candidate possesses the ability to quickly understand business and technical topics and apply data visualization for efficient and effective communication.


  • Support the collection and analysis of public disclosure and commentary from industry participants
  • Assist in interpreting market and competitor data for benchmarking enterprise performance
  • Support the preparation of presentations, fact sheets, press releases, and other materials for news releases and presentations to analysts and investors
  • Analyze financial results of the company and assist with authoring communications to the investment community, including management statements for earnings calls
  • Assist with prioritizing and managing incoming requests for information, event participation, etc.
  • Assist with preparation activities for investor conferences, investor and analyst meetings and other related events
  • Help track investor opportunities and outreach, maintain investor CRM and create summary reports for senior management
  • Research and follow ESG regulations, trends, best practices and competitor\xe2\x80\x99s initiatives to inform ongoing ESG initiatives
  • Support annual ESG data collection processes and prioritize the completion of related surveys and questionnaires from third parties, including investors, rating agencies, customers and others
  • Perform other financial analysis and assist with non-routine transactions as assigned
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree required in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 3+ years equivalent work experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to gain insights from research and identify key findings
  • Deep understanding of financial reports and financial data tools required
  • Demonstrable ability to dive into data, interpret insights clearly and accurately and present complex concepts in a consumable fashion
  • Solid time management skills to meet deadlines and perform tasks quickly and efficiently
  • Self-motivated and willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • Proven ability to engage confidently cross functionality and with corporate leadership
  • Proven ability to handle a high-paced work environment, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of ESG and Sustainability issues impacting compliance and reporting requirements on corporations is a plus
  • Domestic travel as required
