Summary of Position Functions



The Senior Full Stack Developer performs in a lead role on an agile (scrum) development team to create software products that meet corporate objectives. A senior developer can oversee multiple products at once or a single large-scale effort on a single product while mentoring other developers and guiding their growth. The person in this position seeks accountability and is willing to put in extra effort to exceed expectations. A senior developer has an expert command of technology and has mastered the development tools used at T2 Systems.

Essential Position Functions

Participates and leads development teams to build best in class software for the parking industry with little or no supervision. Proactively participates in all aspects of the product development life cycle within an agile framework. Can clearly communicate high-level technical problems and solutions to non-technical stakeholders. Assumes a high level of accountability for the quality of the product and code that is delivered to production. Collaborate cross-functionally to align software solutions with business and operational goals. Provides estimates for design specifications and is accountable for these estimates. Interacts with product owners and possibly customers to gather information, provide education, give status updates, and communicate relevant software development related activities. Provides recommendations on architecture direction, product direction, and developments tools. Promotes a clear vision of the high-level technical direction and has ideas and recommendations to accomplish those goals. Collaborates with other departments to provide designs that will solve business problems and ultimately benefit our customers. Champion software quality through rigorous code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration practices, and reduction of technical debt. Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for software architecture, code, and development processes. Willing and capable of resolving work items (Bugs) in code developed by others. Consistently renders clear technical judgment while routinely considering both architecture guidance and sprint and roadmap implications. Works with Product Support to provide development that addresses customer issues. Consistently demonstrates innovation and imagination to go beyond assigned tasks. Craves accountability on the quality and timeliness of delivered outputs. Mentor other developers and promotes sound technical skills. Committed to self-study to maintain or increase technical abilities. Passionate about continuous improvement, efficiency at scale and automation. Demonstrated ability to incorporate usage of AI to improve efficiency of daily coding tasks

Education and Qualifications

A bachelor's or master's degree plus 5 years or more development experience. Mastery of Visual Studio and related development tools. This mastery should extend into architecture, user interface design and implementation, and project planning. Has 3 or more years of experience as part of an agile development team. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of T2's software products, services, and processes is required which can be obtained through intellect, technical inclination, and dedication to gain such knowledge. Excellent communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent teamwork and leadership skills. Expert knowledge of Visual Studio with an emphasis on C#. Expert knowledge of .NET Framework 4.8 Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure Portal and other Azure Cloud technologies Expert knowledge of the Atlassian toolset, especially JIRA and BitBucket (Git). Expert knowledge of at least one DB platform. Strong preference for ORACLE experience. Expert knowledge of ASP.NET SOAP web services and Web Forms Expertise working with a software application that has integrations with embedded systems / hardware / peripheral devices Ability to work with a diverse group of development team members. Ability to work on multiple features and refactoring/support concurrently. Ability to work across a development team to keep sprint commitments on track. Ability to stay on the leading edge of technology trends. Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and colleagues across departments. Ability to create and deliver presentations and proposals. Ability to problem solve; define the problem, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions. Ability to prioritize tasks and tactfully negotiate priority with end users. Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with low-computational power IoT devices. Exposure to containerized technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
