  • Own the vision, strategy, and execution of our key platform capabilities, including:
    • Own the end to end lifecycle of our platform capabilities including strategic planning, development, launch, and on-going innovation
    • Own the platform roadmap and strategy through close collaboration with cross-functional leaders, including ensuring the platform team\'s priorities align with and reinforce the priorities being focused on by each of our product teams (and that their efforts effectively leverage our platform capabilities)
    • Drive effective user research to deeply understand user needs and value, and make data-driven decisions
    • Advocate for our customers and partners to ensure we are solving the right problems in the right way
    • Ensure new features are high quality and effectively make it into our customers\' hands \xe2\x80\x93 nothing matters until customers are using it and getting value from it
  • Manage a high-performing product team
    • Directly manage product managers, helping them grow, develop, and deliver outstanding results
    • Oversee product design and engineering teams, in partnership with their functional leaders, to ensure our combined product management, design, and engineering efforts are fully coordinated and optimized
    • Help develop sound business processes in alignment with AuditBoard\'s product philosophy of iterative, customer-value driven product development
  • Effectively support our customers, partners, and GTM teams
    • Engage in strategic discussions with partners and customers (including in sales processes) to effectively communicate the value of our platform capabilities and provide expert guidance on the best ways to use and integrate with our products
    • Work with sales, solutions engineering, product marketing, and customer success to collaborate on strategy, pricing, marketing collateral, and enablement material to provide proper training and drive great customer outcomes
  • Be a leader in our business
    • Mentor, coach, advise, and support teams across our entire organization
    • Be a leader within our product organization, helping us to build best practices and scale the organization
    • Enhance the value of our "Connected Risk" platform by ensuring that our entire platform works well together and provides synergistic value to our customers
    • Look beyond your core day-to-day responsibilities and regularly find ways to create wins for our customers and company
Attributes of a Successful Candidate
  • Significant product management experience in a customer-facing leadership role at a high-growth enterprise SaaS environment, preferably in the workflow management space and having to manage multiple products
  • Experience working on platform-wide capabilities, with a strong technical background
  • Outstanding customer discovery and user research practices, with a clear ability to deeply understand customer needs and how technology can be leveraged to meet those needs
  • Strong sales skills - able to effectively communicate value to customers
  • Servant-leader that is willing to do whatever is necessary to get the job done
  • Strong people manager with a proven ability to train and develop others
  • Ability to adopt AuditBoard\'s product philosophy and support the continued development and growth of the product management team
  • Highly cross-functional and collaborative leader, with a proven ability to build alignment and activate an organization around a strategy
  • Experience running product experiments with rapid prototyping, ideally in a sales channel and leveraging analytics to drive product insights
  • Ability to actively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with high expectations for quality and velocity
  • Bonus: Experience with AuditBoard\'s products and / or in the GRC space
