Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring cross-functional alignment and communication, tracking deliverables and project milestones for cross-functional teams, and managing overall readiness for Sling product releases using Agile/Scrum methods. The delivery manager will be working both internally with executives, business development, product, design, engineering, marketing, customer experience, PR, and legal teams and with external partners; from the vision and requirements definition phase through delivery and release on an enterprise wide basis. This role will require exceptional project management, organizational and communication skills, and a high technical acumen.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the cross-functional teams to maintain well-refined delivery backlogs and product road-maps
  • Manage cross-team dependencies for product delivery to ensure a timely release of complete features
  • Manage, track, and verify timely and high-quality deliverables; establish and advocate for the overall schedule that align with the requirements from the cross-functional team
  • Lead development of processes and use project management tools to monitor and improve delivery efficiency, cadence, and impact of product and solution releases
  • Regularly communicate project updates to internal stakeholders with efficient analysis of issues and potential solutions
  • Identify and assign clear ownership of feature tasks to the cross-functional team members and drive the timely execution of each team member
  • Ensure feature issues are tracked, managed, communicated and a path to resolution is defined
  • Production support by triaging run-time issues with the product
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education: Minimum Bachelor\'s degree, ideally with a focus on Project Management or IT; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience: 5+ years in a project, program, or delivery management role, ideally within media or entertainment fields or within the pay television industry

Skills and qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and practices (Scrum, Kanban) preferred for a software/web development focus
  • A demonstrated ability to influence other teams to meet goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Salary Range

Compensation: $76,300.00/Year - $109,000.00/Year
