We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in transforming data into strategic assets that inform business decisions and drive growth. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver robust data models, insightful dashboards, and in-depth analyses that illuminate business performance and opportunities. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong business acumen and thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
What You'll Do:Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, ensuring they are both visually appealing and functionally robust
Partner with business leaders and technical teams to gather requirements, translate business questions into analytical projects, and communicate findings clearly
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business objectives and strategic initiatives
Develop, construct, and support last-mile SQL transformations in dbt
Respond to ad hoc data requests, providing timely and accurate analysis to support decision-making
Proactively identify opportunities to improve data processes, promote best practices, and enhance the BI function's impact
Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all dashboards and reports
Coach, mentor, and upskill junior team members by providing guidance, sharing best practices, and fostering continuous professional development within the analytics team
Support the development of self-service analytics capabilities, empowering business users to explore data independently
What You'll Bring:Proven experience designing, building, and optimizing interactive dashboards in Tableau (or similar BI tools)
Excellent communication skills; able to work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and present data-driven recommendations
Highly proficient in SQL, with the ability to improve queries for optimal dashboard performance
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights
High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with data and developing analytical outputs
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Commitment to ongoing learning and staying updated with the latest BI trends
Experience working with data transformation tools, including dbt, for building, testing, and maintaining data models
Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, AWS)
Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and development of best practices
5+ years experience in business intelligence or data analysis roles
4+ years developing dashboards and automated reporting in Tableau (or similar BI platforms)
4+ years writing efficient and optimized SQL queries
1+ years building and maintain data models in dbt
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics)
The US base salary range for this position is $104,000 - $156,000 base + benefits
