The EA SPORTS FC\xe2\x84\xa2 Mobile team is an international team, powered by global talent and looking for passionate new team members to help launch one world\'s largest new brands on one of the most played sports games in the world.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Community Manager - LATAM\'s main mandate is to be the EA SPORTS FC\xe2\x84\xa2 Mobile online voice on multiple social platforms and to act as a bridge between the community and the developers. You will be solely focused on the EA SPORTS FC\xe2\x84\xa2 Mobile title. You will represent the Business Operations team to the community including game updates, troubleshooting issues, and marketing promotions, and communicating with gamers directly on multiple social media platforms, including Discord.

  • Manage & help moderate the official LATAM Discord server & other region-specific channels.
  • Oversee posting on EA SPORTS FC\xe2\x84\xa2 Mobile Global\'s current social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Discord.
  • Engage with users; provide support and insight on all existing/new content
  • Collaborate with a team of creatives to edit, capture, or otherwise help them get their messages out to players through dev blogs, short-form video content, or direct engagement with players on social or by live streams.
  • Work with a global team of community managers, creating localized content for a worldwide audience of gamers.
  • Align with Publishing/Marketing managers and fellow CM colleagues to create proposals that support community activations.
  • Promote product milestones and provide awareness on all live ops events, participating in live streams around new content & marketing beats.
  • Help create compelling marketing communications to engage our players.
  • Take part in design meetings and provide feedback on features, programs, and packs.
  • Collect user feedback on issues, hot topics, and bugs, and report them to the development team in daily meetings & reports.
  • Be the internal community advocate for LATAM and provide relevant feedback that represents the players.
  • Coordinate with customer service teams to ensure positive player experiences and work on any communication plans with them when needed.
  • Create reports highlighting all activities within the LATAM community.
  • Track the performance of your community; track main community measurements, and community sentiment and report to the development team.
  • Work with the Global Community team to develop a strategy on how to grow the sentiment of our community
  • Seek new opportunities within social streams (i.e. TikTok, Twitch, Reddit, etc.) where potential EA SPORTS FC\xe2\x84\xa2 Mobile LATAM community may have a presence; report findings and define action items.
  • Share insights on social media/game community best practices in which you\'ve seen success.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Speak & write fluently in Latin American Spanish. Please note any languages you speak or write & your level of proficiency on your resume.
  • 1 year\'s experience working on a live game with time spent being active in the games\' community.
  • Preference is given to individuals providing live support to a mobile product on 2 of the following digital platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Discord).
  • Experience working with external consumers and internal development teams on at least 2 projects. Since you will directly support end customers and our teams, this experience is important.
  • Experience creating assets for a community (ie. streaming, video, gifs, or photoshopped images) is an asset for this role.
  • Email, video calls, Twitter, Discord, and Reddit. The CM will communicate with multiple international partners and the end gamers. Communicate effectively with internal staff and with gamers online. - Organized- your time.
  • Copywriting skills (the CM will write program guides and blog entries for players).
  • Experience being an active member of a mobile gaming community.
  • Understanding of streaming, experience as a streamer & knowledge of esports.
  • Preference is given to anyone with an affinity for soccer/soccer clubs
  • Advocate for unique in-game content implementation that celebrates LATAM community/culture
  • Build a pipeline with ASEM (Asia & Emerging Markets Team); support LATAM commercial team for all campaigns and projects and find ways to get involved with those teams\' activations
  • Help manage Twitch livestream shows (global & BR); find ways to integrate self into current live stream setup and identify new opportunities to improve content/production quality
  • Establish a stable of LATAM ambassadors, creators, and VIPs; create opportunities that empower these groups to feel excited about their level of involvement with dev
  • Create unique strategies for LATAM-specific user-generated content; advocate for ways to promote UGC in important social media channels (i.e. Reddit, Discord, creator spaces)
  • Work with the Manager of Global Community Engagement to define community Indicators and goals that align with LATAM community growth strategy
  • Research the latest/new content creator tools; advocate for said new tools to add to internal global community teams\' current set of tools
  • Collaborate with teams (i.e. Product, Dev, SDI, Art, Content) and establish working pipelines that impact player sentiment
  • Develop working relationships with relevant local (LATAM) football clubs/players; seek out opportunities that promote cross-pollination of social content, and biz dev opportunities, focused on expanding our profile
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on your specific location\'s base salary range and benefits.EA has listed the base salary ranges in good faith and expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):\xc2\xba $66,000 - $100,800
  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):\xc2\xba $59,750 - $100,800
  • Jersey City, NJ:\xc2\xba $73,150 - $100,800
  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):\xc2\xba $59,750 - $82,000
  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):\xc2\xba $59,750 - $90,850
Base salary is just one part of the compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonuses and equity.
