Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise or general claims support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims. Authorizes the appropriate payment or refers claims to investigators for further review. Conducts data entry and re-work; analyzes and identifies trends and provides reports as necessary.

This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 6am-6pm CST.

We offer 4-6 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise or general claims support by reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing claims
  • Review, coach to and provide feedback for claim defects
  • Provide regular written and verbal feedback to supervisors (for review with staff) and business leaders
  • Drive quality improvement, through exceptional claims accuracy and by improving processes
  • Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards
  • Host meetings with the team and internal business partners to review and improve processes or escalate issues
  • Give assistance with Escalated Sup Calls
  • Discuss technical process on calls with varying levels of management
  • Authorize appropriate payment or refer claims to investigators for further review
  • Analyze and identify trends and provides reports as requested
  • Reviewing Teams Capacity and Inventory daily
  • Review SOP/411 updates with team
  • Provide excellent customer service

Required Qualifications:
  • High school Diploma / GED or equivalent years of experience
  • 1+ years of Claims, Office and/or Customer Service experience analyzing and solving customer problems in CSP Facets
  • Technical knowledge of CSP
  • Experience with using Microsoft Word (create and modify documents)
  • Microsoft Excel (sort, filter, enter data, use basic formulas)
  • Microsoft Outlook (manage email and calendar)
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 6am-6pm CST.
  • Must be 18+ years of age or older
Preferred Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with using Microsoft PowerPoint (ability to use and develop presentation of data / information to present to a group which might include management)

Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington or Rhode Island Residents Only: The hourly range for California / Colorado / Connecticut / Nevada / New York / New Jersey / Washington / Rhode Island residents is $18.80 - $36.78 per hour.
