Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Water/Wastewater/Water Resources CADD Team Lead, we\'ll count on you to:

• Create designs independently under broad direction from the Project Engineer or Project Manager on various design projects
• Direct preparation of drawings by other BIM Technicians of lesser experience, or take direct supervisory responsibility for BIM staff as needed
• Complete projects with distinctive design features differing significantly from BIM Technician precedents as needed
• Work with clients or contractor representatives as needed
• Perform other duties as needed

• Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
• 10+ years of experience with civil engineering/site development projects
• Requires extensive knowledge of BIM, design development, construction documents, technical and engineering knowledge
• Requires a good working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Inroads, ProjectWise, LDD, construction documents and technical aspects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to gather, organize and interpret data for process monitoring or business case development
• Oral and written communication skills
• Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience
• Understanding of conveyance and collection piping systems, profile development, and site grading are a must
• Experience with design of pumping stations and water treatment facilities a plus
• Understanding of railroad engineering skills
• Strong Experience with Highway design, street design, drainage and PSR/PR
• Experience with Bentley products such as ProjectWise is a plus
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
