Job Description


As a Senior Cash Analyst, you will support the retail store operations in the United States and Canada (USCA) supporting the Architectural Coatings business. You will work with a high volume of transactions in an efficient, detailed manner. You will report to the Architectural Stores Cash Supervisor. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily bank files, by downloading from 17 bank sites and uploading files to internal accounting software.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies between Point-of-Sale (POS) book data and bank funding for 269 PR and US stores.
  • Resolve any book (POS) and bank file discrepancies.
  • Reconcile and perform monthly account analyses for 21 challenging cash and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries for adjustments to account analyses and for month-end closing.
  • Provide mentorship and support to Team Members and Stores Associates, which includes fielding phone calls and responding to emails to address questions and issues.
  • Manage the returned check process. Receive returned check detail from banks and third-party vendor and reconcile to customer accounts (A/R) and internal accounting software.
  • Prepare and monitor weekly ACH sweeps from stores\xe2\x80\x99 bank accounts to corporate bank account.
  • Corporate Purchasing Card (CPC) reconciliation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess leadership qualities.
  • Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Experience in SAP is highly encouraged.
