Job Description


Responsible for assisting in the formulation and definition of new business strategies and models to enhance business efficiencies; help define scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements; define and modify procedures to solve complex problems considering software limitations, operating time, and form of desired results; develop requirements analysis, use case reviews, fit/gap analyses, and business process re-engineering; perform systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment; communicate issues and risks directly with technical management and other responsible entities to ensure a fully integrated solution across multiple work streams; support business process and analyze information from various sources to identify trends and opportunities; provide project progress reports to various levels of leadership within organization; keep abreast of new capabilities and functionalities needed across the business processes being supported; plan, design and recommend business processes to improve and support business activities; assist with developing the methods and procedures required to identify whether current business goals and objectives meet organizational needs; facilitate meetings to gather and document requirements, workflows and explore potential solutions; analyze and document client\'s business requirements and processes and communicate these requirements, including data analysis and volume estimates from organization; collaborate with work teams, departments, system leadership, staff, other IT groups, and to define needs and business requirements; provide input into developing and modifying systems to meet needs and develop business specifications to support these modifications; create test scenarios and develop test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that requirements are incorporated into the system design; assist in analyzing testing results; utilize and apply knowledge of SQL, Agile Methodologies, SCRM, SDLC, business requirement gathering/analysis procedures, Business/Gap Analysis, Test planning/automation processes, requirement traceability, Cyrpress, VS Code and Snagit to perform duties; participate in reviews and inspections to verify \'intent of change\' is carried out through the entire project; participate in business analyst tasks on information technology projects, problem tickets and provide support to other team members; ensure proper documentation and on-time delivery of all functional artifacts and deliverables for assigned work; act as liaison to IT, operations and vendors supported in the division; and work to understand, develop and propose business requirements and data driven solutions.

Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree)Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Software Consultant, as a Business Systems Analyst, as a Consultant, as a Quality Software Analyst, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of all the following: SQL, Agile Methodologies, SCRM, SDLC, business requirement gathering/analysis procedures, Test planning/automation processes, requirement traceability, Cyrpress, VS Code and Snagit.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
