Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Development (Azure DevOps):

Design, implement, and maintain advanced continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using

Azure Pipelines (YAML)

for automated application builds, testing, and deployment to Azure environments.

Configuration Management (Ansible):

Develop, test, and manage

Ansible Playbooks

and roles to automate the configuration and deployment of virtual machines, applications, and other infrastructure components across Linux and Windows systems.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Work with

Terraform

or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to provision, configure, and manage core Azure resources (e.g., Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS).

Automation and Scripting (Python):

Write robust and efficient

Python

scripts to automate deployment tasks, integrate with Azure APIs, manage configuration files, and develop custom utilities to enhance the DevOps toolchain.

Source Control and Collaboration (GitHub):

Implement and enforce Git branching strategies (e.g., Gitflow, Trunk-based) for version control, manage repositories in

GitHub

(or Azure Repos), and integrate GitHub actions into CI/CD workflows.

Cloud Architecture:

Provision, secure, and manage Azure services, including networking, security groups, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Monitor/Application Insights.

Monitoring and Reliability:

Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health, performance, and stability of the platform.

Troubleshooting:

Rapidly diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, application, and deployment issues across all environments.

Security & Governance:

Apply DevSecOps principles by integrating security scanning tools and compliance checks into the CI/CD pipelines.
