Description

Objectives of the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated, organized and proactive person to join our exciting New Business team. The Senior New Business Associate will support the functioning of our critical New Business Department, through their effective organizational skills and project management. They will support the BD department across all aspects of the pitch process, from prospecting to RFIs, RFPs and presentations. This individual will also work across the agency with specific discipline leads, in order to generate best-in-class pitch responses. Pitch scope ranges from small projects to 1-billion dollar pitch projects across all verticals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as the central distribution point for all materials in the new business department

  • Responsible for preparations for meetings and events, with a willingness to provide in-person support of office meetings and projects * Stock inventory of EssenceMediacom collateral and presentation materials
  • Accountable for taking directive notes during meetings, conference report generation/distribution * Assist in writing, proofing and designing of presentations with a strong attention to detail, including RFIs and agency collateral materials, including brochures, case studies, employee bios, etc.
  • Fully understand branding guidelines and serve as a \xe2\x80\x9cbrand ambassador\xe2\x80\x9d for the agency, occasionally working with design and production teams to produce pitch collateral
Collaborate with audio-visual on all pitch video productions, including off-site pitch sites
  • Coordinating travel and booking hotel / conference rooms for pitch meetings, as needed
  • Handling all internal reporting requests to ensure accurate and timely internal and external reporting on the state of EssenceMediacom New Business growth
  • Conduct research on potential clients and create background documents, as needed
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all New Business/Marketing electronic files, including RFI database, headshots and bios
  • Collect and analyze regular reports, presentations and projects, as well as ad-hoc requests as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Effective written communications skills, including proofreading for grammar and spelling, meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a professional manner in all dealing with customers, staff and others
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven team environment
  • Ability to keep all work related information confidential as necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Support the Business Development team by potentially learning how to utilized third party media research sites such as Winmo, Pathmatics, and Kantar (pulling Ad Spend Reports)
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree preferred; concentration in Media/ Marketing/Advertising/Communications preferred
  • 2+ years prior experience desired
  • Strong computer skills a must; knowledge of graphic software (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator) a plus

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
