We're expanding our senior trading team and looking for an accomplished Senior IT Storage Trader Account Manager to take a key role in our
global trading operations.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Storage Trader Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing high-value trading activity across enterprise storage platforms--EMC, NetApp, HPE, Dell, IBM, Hitachi, and others. This role is ideal for a highly connected professional with deep product expertise and a proven ability to identify, negotiate, and close profitable hardware transactions.
You will also serve as a strategic resource for our internal channel sales team, providing insights, pricing, and procurement strategies that directly support their client engagements and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead
procurement and resale of enterprise IT storage systems
across the global
secondary market
Leverage a strong network of suppliers, OEM partners, brokers, and end-users
Collaborate with internal channel sales reps to structure client-facing deals and respond to complex requests
Provide market intelligence and guidance on pricing, availability, and technical fit
Identify and capitalize on arbitrage opportunities and shifting product demand
Work closely with operations, logistics, and finance to ensure successful deal execution
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of end-of-life products, emerging technologies, and global market trends
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in
IT hardware brokerage, trading, or ITAD
Deep technical knowledge
of enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, RAID, SSD, HDD, etc.)
A strong
book of business
and proven deal-closing track record
Exceptional commercial negotiation skills and a proactive,
entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to support and collaborate with internal sales teams on client opportunities
Experience working in a fast-paced, transactional trading environment
Excellent communication, organization, and forecasting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Global sourcing experience
Familiarity with R2/ISO standards and sustainability practices in ITAD
ERP/CRM experience
Background working with large enterprise clients or Fortune 500 companies
