Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Account Executive (SAE) to oversee multiple workstreams, working with a passionate team on best-in-class work.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to creation of integrated communications plans that meet client objectives
  • Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
  • Build relationships with media as well as clients and colleague at all levels
  • Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content
  • Supervise staff junior to you by motivating, coaching and consistently providing feedback
  • Develop and lead traditional earned media strategies and programs
  • Conduct frequent media outreach to generate editorial coverage across broadcast, print and digital
  • Formulate measurement reports
  • Assist with event planning and execution
  • Commit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman\'s values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media, and publishing
  • A bachelor\'s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to manage multiple small or medium-sized projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop communications plans, implement public relations tactics and impart knowledge to more junior team members
  • Intricate level of understanding of the account(s), the clients\' businesses, products, markets, personnel, outside influencers, opposition, etc.
  • Solid research, writing, editing and client interaction skills
  • Solid grasp of all basic public relations tools and how they are used to achieve client goals
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and be a team player
  • Fundamental understanding of media relations and the ability to apply experience and initiative in developing appropriate traditional and online media strategies
  • Proactive self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills, along with the ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines
  • Affinity for storytelling and an ability to generate creative ideas, take risks and think big

$52,000 - $77,000 a year

An employee\'s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH\'s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits. \
