We are currently hiring Security (Full-Time Temp) at Coney Island Brewery in Brooklyn, NY. What You\'ll Brew:
  • Welcome guests while serving as an enthusiastic first and last impression greeter of the brewery: Become familiarized with our history, mission and culture to promptly respond to any inquiries our guests may have.
  • Keep Team Safe: Work with management to identify and address potential safety risks, become familiarized with CIB Policies and products, ensure we are in compliance with our C.U.P and local laws. Build a relationship with team & local community: Local Police, Fire and Emergency Services and NY Maimonides Park Management team for EHSS and Emergency Services.
  • Keep Guests Safe: Monitor number of guests in our space. Ensure no intoxicated persons or un-accompanied minors enter the premises. Encourage respectful behavior. Deescalate and remove anyone who is being disruptive and/or exhibiting clear signs of intoxication. Document all incidents. Communicate with management effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order along the street, including sweeping as needed, and directing vendors and performers to their proper locations. Provide frequent and regular inspections of the restrooms and retail space, while addressing any potential issues which might otherwise damage our facilities, violate our operating permit and/or hinder the general enjoyment of the Public House for the rest of our guests.
  • Be engaged at work, use good judgement, clear communication and maintain professionalism.
What Ingredients You\xe2\x80\x99ll Bring: Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a Licensed NYC Security Guard with good standing and current credentials
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CPR/First Aid certified
  • Active Guard Card Certification (within 90 days of start date)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous security/door staff experience
Level: 10 In accordance with New York City\'s pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired in New York City is $24 per hour.
