Duties

Supervise and coordinate security personnel to ensure consistent enforcement of security policies and procedures Oversee access control processes for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring proper verification and documentation Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools to identify potential threats or irregular activities Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by implementing appropriate protocols and liaising with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating issues effectively while maintaining safety for all parties involved Perform routine inspections of premises, including surveillance equipment checks, fence patrols, and loss prevention audits Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records to ensure accurate documentation of daily activities and incidents Provide first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinate with medical responders during emergencies Lead training sessions on conflict management, surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures for security staff Perform other job duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Proven experience in security supervision or law enforcement roles with a strong understanding of security operations Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention methods Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified Background in military service or law enforcement is advantageous due to relevant skills in conflict management and emergency response Familiarity with security protocols related to access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively Strong communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with emergency responders or law enforcement agencies Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities during emergencies or incidents
