Duties

Supervise daily security operations, ensuring all protocols are followed diligently across the facility. Lead and coordinate security personnel to monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems, conduct patrols, and perform visual inspections. Manage access control procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure authorized entry at all times. Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by implementing conflict management strategies and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Conduct first aid and CPR when necessary to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies. Oversee loss prevention initiatives by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing preventative measures to reduce theft or damage. Train security staff on emergency procedures, conflict resolution, surveillance techniques, and the use of security equipment such as CCTV systems. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately for accountability and review purposes. Enforce safety policies aligned with legal standards and best practices to promote a secure environment for all stakeholders.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security management or law enforcement roles with a strong understanding of security operations. Certifications in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response training are highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively. Background in military or law enforcement service is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, emergency responders, and other departments. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high levels of vigilance. Familiarity with legal regulations related to security practices within the jurisdiction.
