The Security Operations Specialist will support the 24-7 operations of the Security Operation Center (SOC), while enforcing the security policies and procedures for the RBFCU enterprise. Manage, monitor and report on day to day operations, non-emergency and emergency incidents, RBFCU events, security officer patrols, security officer posts and ASC vendor/visitor activities. Additionally, this role will handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Emergency Response \xe2\x80\x93 Coordination of an approach to effectively manage all emergency incidents for the RBFCU enterprise.

Surveillance \xe2\x80\x93 Monitoring of CCTV, access control, ASC ingress and egress traffic, ATM/ETM, Branch openings and closings, ASC/Branch daily activity\xe2\x80\x99s, ASC/Branch events and ASC visitor/vendor activates.

ASC Access Control \xe2\x80\x93 Manage, monitor and communicate with all vendors and visitors while attempting to gain access to the RBFCU ASC Campus.

Risk Detection and Mitigation \xe2\x80\x93 Identify potential security risks and provide solutions for mitigation.

Communication \xe2\x80\x93 Strong written and verbal communication to provide detailed reports, proper information to responding Security Officers, accurate and crucial information to Law Enforcement and critical information to management.

Reports \xe2\x80\x93 Creates and reviews daily reports and properly communicates the information as needed.

Investigation \xe2\x80\x93 Complete active investigations providing management/Law Enforcement critical real time incident information.

Department Calls \xe2\x80\x93 Filter after-hour security department calls accurately and provide assistance and proper notification to management.

Roll Call - Conducts roll call with security officers providing proper pass down information and detailed patrol details.

System Integrity \xe2\x80\x93 Maintain all SOC operating systems and take corrective action when issues arise.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 1 year of physical security and/or technology experience.

Minimum of 1 year financial institution experience preferred.

Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and demanding environment.

Technical problem investigation and resolution skills.

Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to operate several systems and multiple screens at the same time.

Able to work all hours including nights with added night differential pay.

Skills and/or Certification/Licensing:

Microsoft Applications

Radio Communications

First Aid, CPR, and AED

Professional Security Certifications (preferred)

Active Shooter Certification/Hours (preferred)

Level III Certification/Hours (preferred)
