Security Operations Manager

to lead our security teams, optimize operations, and drive excellence with integrity and vision.

Position Summary

The Security Operations Manager is a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for overseeing and enhancing all daily security operations. This role requires proven experience in security management, strong leadership, and the ability to adapt to dynamic operational and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and operational protocols. Lead and inspire security personnel, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management. Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures. Manage surveillance systems, access controls, and emergency response procedures to maintain safety and efficiency. Serve as the primary liaison with law enforcement, emergency responders, and external partners. Prepare detailed operational and incident reports, analyze trends, and recommend improvements. Stay up to date with emerging security technologies and industry best practices to enhance operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations or management. Strong knowledge of physical security systems, operational protocols, and risk mitigation strategies. Proven leadership and people management experience with diverse teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and crisis management skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Professional certifications (CPP, PSP, or equivalent) preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
