Job Description

This is a seasonal position that will last until around the middle of February. Most weeks will stay consistent with the shifts being Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. The start times vary from 6:45pm to 9:45pm. We close at 2:00 am and it takes about 2 hours to get everything cleaned and closed down. We will also need a couple of extra shifts for the holidays with Christmas Eve or Christmas being one of them.

Bar Back Responsibilities:

Assist with opening and closing duties (prep food, restock dishes, mop floors, clean surfaces) Keep bar well-stocked with ice, glasses, fruit and beer. Change out kegs when needed. Keep the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash cans. Prep and cook food orders. Wash dishes as they come in. Check IDs at the door Monitor occupancy to not exceed the capacity
Bar Back Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Atleast 21 years of age Professional appearance and friendly, positive attitude Knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors. Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally. Responsible, punctual, hard working Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods

Pay: $14.00 - $23.00 per hour
