We are currently seeking a School Social Worker for a wonderful school in Randolph, MA!

School Social Worker Duties:

• Promote a school climate and culture conducive to student learning.
• Utilize effective practices that provide for safe environments and supportive relationships.
• Provide advocacy, child welfare, and case management services to students.
• Assess, identify and provide clinical interventions to students with emotional, social, attendance and/or behavioral concerns within the general education population.
• Perform consultations with classroom teachers and be a resource for school site personnel on mental health and social/emotional issues that may affect classroom performance.
• Coordinate, develop and facilitate professional development for teachers, staff and administrators in the area of social/emotional learning, self-care and trauma sensitive schools.

School Social Worker Requirements:

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in School Social Work (MSW) is required

Current and Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education License as a School Social Worker.

Previous experience in a school setting is encouraged. * Ability to work both individually as well as in a team-based environment with parents, teachers, students, and administrators.
